📄 NBGM All-Star Weekend: Dunk & 3pt Contest (S23)

We’re underway with the NBGM All-Star weekend. It’s a full slate of events including Dunk Contest, 3PT Shootout, Rookies vs Sophmores and of course, the main All-Star Game.

Slam Dunk Contest Results

Welsh Hawkins who was the runner up last year, defeats the defending champion Matisse Thybulle from Australia! Welsh Hawkins was a CBGM player from St Marys. Other notable CBGM talent appears to be Mike Jacobsen from Kansas and Marty Shelton from Louisville who lost in the first round.

3 Point Contest Results

It is nice seeing Keaton Williams from Iowa State in the finals. Gary Oliver of Texas and Ryan Prince from West Virginia in the CBGM were in the contest. Aging vet Marcus Morris Sr. showed off his range and won the title.
