📄 NBGM AS Weekend: CBGM Rookies vs Sophomores (S23)

We’re underway with the NBGM All-Star weekend. Next up for the fans, are watching the Rookie draft class take on the Sophomores. The CBGM sophomores are taking on the rookies. Who will be the class of the CBGM.

Starting Lineups

The G-League Ignite phenom BJ Anderson is the odd man out but the rest of the cast are familiar names from the CBGM. Newton makes the starting lineup even though he hasn’t been getting much run this season. Dan McRae the one and done UNC & Indy MVP will be running the offense for the rookies. Looking at the stats, you can see that Perry Willis and Andy Morris are big contributors now for their teams.

Game Results

B.J. Anderson is just too good. He’s a dangerous player and can shoot the 3. With his performance aside, the CBGM’ers on the sophomores saw big bench performances from Julius Miles from Kentucky and Mike Cooper from Mich St. While Sherman Grundy, Georgetown led the bench for the Rookies. Nice games from Kentucky’s Khalid Jones and Kansas’ Mike Jacobsen.
