It’s the NBGM trade deadline. We are seeing more activity of the CBGM players. NBGM teams are looking to make moves to find pieces for their team. Move draft picks or get out of bad contracts.

Notable Trades

Nick Burris of Notre Dame, who was recently drafted by the Suns has been shipped out to Oklahoma. He was playing the G-League most of the year but it’s always interesting to track the CBGM players.

Spicy P is no longer a Rap. He’ll be moving to the NBGM champion Magic. They have an expendable big with the growth of B.J. Anderson and this makes Wendell Carter Jr more available to trade. Carter Jr. signed a max deal and Siakam will swap based on those contracts.

First round NBGM draft pick Kurt Linney from UNC was shipped out in a package deal for Killian Hayes and a pick.

Aging Kyle Lowry’s tenure with Boston is over. He is shipped to the Cavs and the move brings the Celtics a pretty nice 1st round selection. Cleveland making a push now with the players acquired.
