📄 NBGM AS Weekend: CBGM Rookies vs Sophomores (S25)

We’re underway with the NBGM All-Star weekend. Next up for the fans, are watching the Rookie draft class take on the Sophomores. The CBGM sophomores are taking on the rookies. Who will be the class of the CBGM.

Starting Lineups

In this starting lineup battle, we see Jo Jo Crowell prepared to carry the load for the Rookie team. The Syracuse scoring great and NCBA record holder for scoring in one season will lead the attack. Baylor , Oregon is well represented in the starting lineup.

The Sophmores roll out superstar Johnny Holloway out of Kentucky. He’s already lit up the NBGM. Miami picked a gem in getting this guy. Barry Barrett from Texas joins Holloway in the front court.

Game Results

Johnny Holloway tore it up last year and now he put his stamp on the game this year. Oh boy. 45 pts and 7 reb to make himself the MVP of the game. Boyd couldn’t match up to the might of Holloway. The Sophomore take the victory.

Good games for the Rookies include sharp shooting Milton Thompson out of Michigan. He put up 18 in a strong showing coming in for Orville Swartz who had a quiet game.

For the sophomores, Okelley shot poorly and there is a notable performance from Joseph Bannon out of Purdue. He did what he could off the bench. Steve Robertson and Robert Samuel, both famous CBGM players, didn’t provide much impact.
