📄 NBGM Trade Deadline: Moving CBGM’ers (S28)

It’s the NBGM trade deadline. We are seeing every year more activity of the CBGM players. NBGM teams are looking to make moves to find pieces for their team. Move draft picks or get out of bad contracts.

Let’s take a look at some of the CBGM names moving around…

Notable Trades

Really have no clue what the hell Toronto is doing here. They take their #2 overall draft pick (Jarret Davis, West Virginia). They then trade their long time starting power forward out of (Wisconsin) to bring home a Canadian talent in R.J. Barrett. The extra pick doesn’t mean anything so this seems like a totally lopsided bone-head move from the Raptors GM , listed as Nick Collison.

The Raptors aren’t done completely blowing up their team! They then trade the star point guard Dan McRae (North Carolina) and a starting center Gobert, for an aging Anthony Davis. They add the 1st round pick as if this will cover off their dumped talent. Completely bizarre moves, maybe some salary cap considerations going forward.

The pride of Illinois, Kai Poland is going to be getting it done now with the Chicago Bulls. The first round pick from the Bulls is showing they really want this guy.

Now this is puzzling. The Pelicans once had Tyshawn Doll. He has been on the Magic, the Jazz and again on the Pels. This time let’s hope he sticks! He is really to break out. He will have a tough time finding PT with Zion Williamson still in the mix.

The Greek sharphooter out of Kansas is headed in a heads-up swap for Vinny Habib from .. Kansas! The two college alumni, swap teams.
