📄 NBGM Trade Deadline: Moving CBGM’ers (S32)

It’s the NBGM trade deadline. We are seeing every year more activity of the CBGM players. NBGM teams are looking to make moves to find pieces for their team. Move draft picks or get out of bad contracts.

Let’s take a look at some of the CBGM names moving around…

Notable Trades

The Jayson Tatum era in Boston is no more. Now 33, he was a pillar on those championship Boston Celtics years.

They will be moving in a new direction by adding depth to in the front-court. Jokic is close to retiring but Slade (Louisville) and Roach (Xavier) they will look to find a home in Boston.

Tatum is being paid millions of dollars with 3 years remaining on his current deal.

The Pels have finally moved Zion. At 31 years old now and will be making $41 million next season, it’s now change in New Orleans.

Pistons add a talent and will be chasing a ring this year. Godoy (Kansas) and Daniels (Ohio State) on the move back.

Daniels is the better player with about 14 pgg headed back to help the Pels.

This move is quite significant. First off Andy Morris (Florida) has been an all-star of the league for years and years. The Knicks adding a first is an oddity to this move but let’s dive deeper.

Morris at 29 has three years left on his deal approx $30m a season. The Nuggets just loaded by dealing ancillary parts.

Danny Bayno (Florida) was the 5th overall pick. He’s 19 with potential that the Knicks will be looking to leverage.

Burris (Notre Dame) and Richardson (Oklahoma State) look to be throw in players. An odd move for the current GM’s.

Dan McRae (UNC) a guy we once touted as the next Magic Johnson, being a tall PG.

Cardenas (Ohio State) and Reyes (West Virginia) are both turning into nice pros but aren’t the high-end talent of McRae.

He is now on his third pro team. Having originally been drafted by the Raptors.

Of note, Page (Illinois) will be on the move. Now 29, he has had a decent career but will be swapping spots with Stephens (Virginia).
