📄 NBGM Trade Deadline: Moving CBGM’ers (S33)

It’s the NBGM trade deadline. We are seeing every year more activity of the CBGM players. NBGM teams are looking to make moves to find pieces for their team. Move draft picks or get out of bad contracts.

Let’s take a look at some of the CBGM names moving around…

Notable Trades

The Robb Stukes (VCU) era in Indiana has already come to an end. Not sure why the AI or GM’s make the deals they make sometimes but they package him with a 33 year old Tyler Herro making 23.3m per season.

On the way back, the Pels end up giving up their first round pick. 2nd and throw in Wes Daniels (Ohio State) to sweeten the pot.

Not a lot of smarts from the Pacers here.

Now we see Fred West (Maryland) moving on from the Lakers so they can bring in the veteran Tyrese Halibuton.

Fred West will look to find a home in the Kings lineup.

In terms of All-Star games and contributions, we have to make praise to Gary Oliver (Texas). A storied career and typically an all-star.

The Clippers have given up on him so they can add Adam Williams (Notre Dame) and Gary Moore (also Texas). They will end up getting a first rounder to sweeten the pot.

Throwing this deal in here to bring up some blast from the past names. It’s Lebron Gonzalez (Louisville and Kansas). One of the few players in CBGM history to declare for the draft, and actually change his mind before the season rolled over.

James Berry (Creighton) , Shane Wilkins (Butler) are some other names to be tossed around in this swap.

Robb Stukes was probably the best player to be on the move but this trade might be the 2nd biggest of the deadline.

Brett Parmar (VCU) originally of VCU final four glory. Hasn’t made his splash yet but might get his chance going to the Kings.

Midgley (UConn) is a big time lottery draft pick. It ends up netting the Lakers a 1st, and Mackel Robinson (UNC).
