So the summer league went on. We have so many CBGM people going head-to-head now. It’s great!

Semi-Final #1: Philadelphia 76ers vs Memphis Grizzlies

Erick Cooper (Wichita St) is fitting in nicely to his newly drafted team. 19-6-6 is his summer league stat line in the semi-final.

Playing well as well for the Spurs is Darius Andersen (Iowa) off the bench. They’ll be looking to fill roster slots this season.

On the losing side, the Bulls had an inspired bench performance from Israel Morriey, undrafted player out of (Villanova). Ryan Marshall (Kansas) was the best player in their starting lineup.

Semi-Final #2: Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies

Eric Freymond (Saint Marys) has been on fire. 24 pts to go with 14 dimes.

He’s been linking up well with former CBGM Final Four MVP and Champion Mike Askew (Notre Dame).

On the flip side, the best individual performance came from Kyle Sales (Notre Dame) with 24 pts.

Final: San Antonio Spurs vs Memphis Grizzlies

And in the finals, Eric Freymond (Saint Marys) has done it again! 22 pts and 8 assists. The Grizz win the championship.

Spurs tried to win the game with a well known CBGM big. Andrei Radl (Butler) had his crazy 8 blocks. To go with 26 pts.

The Spurs will be VERY excited to see how he continues to develop.
