📄 NBGM & G-League Awards (S34)
One of the cooler things these days is that we have players in the G-League too. This will almost soon be a league of seniors and players that didn’t have high stock in CBGM but might get their chance to be a pro someday.
Let’s take a look at the NBGM stars that shine bright, while also showcasing the award winners from the G-League.
NBGM Individual Awards
So it’s not very common for anyone to have an MVP award that isn’t named Luka Doncic or Trae Young.
But we’ve had a new darling of the NBGM when it comes to the award voting. The new king of the association is Chezlie McKie (Butler)!
Becoming one of those triple double players we’ve seen over the years with Luka.
Seth Mull (Kansas) wins his first defensive player of the year award. BJ Anderson wins his second 6th man of the year award with 22.5 PPG off the bench. There is another stud they have at center in San Antonio, Khalid Jones (Kentucky) and they didn’t shift BJ out of his position.
The Rookie of the Year goes to Steve Green (Ohio State).
Tyronn Lue was able to extract 61 wins from the Washington Wizards.
