📄 NBGM & G-League Awards (S35)
One of the cooler things these days is that we have players in the G-League too. This will almost soon be a league of seniors and players that didn’t have high stock in CBGM but might get their chance to be a pro someday.
Let’s take a look at the NBGM stars that shine bright, while also showcasing the award winners from the G-League.
NBGM Individual Awards
So we’ve finally started to move away from Luka and Trae winning every year. Last year’s winner was Chezlie McKie (Butler) of the Orlando Magic.
But now it’s Mike Jacobsen (Kansas) winning his first MVP with the Wizards! 36 PPGÂ and a deadly scorer.
Josh Campbell (SDSU) is showing himself as a truly dominant player. Now especially on the defensive end. He wins this award and locked everyone down in the finals as well. 3.8 Steals Per Game!
BJ Anderson wins his third 6th man of the year award with 20.4 PPG off the bench. There is another stud they have at center in San Antonio, Khalid Jones (Kentucky) and they didn’t shift BJ out of his position in three seasons.
The Rookie of the Year goes to Charlie Smith (Notre Dame).
Jason Kidd was able to extract 68 wins from the Sac Kings.
