📄 NBGM Trade Deadline: Moving CBGM’ers (S36)

It’s the NBGM trade deadline. We are seeing every year more activity of the CBGM players. NBGM teams are looking to make moves to find pieces for their team. Move draft picks or get out of bad contracts.

Let’s take a look at some of the CBGM names moving around…

Notable Trades

Quite confusing what the Raptors get up to in their roster management. Having drafted Jamie Stewart (UConn), although out with a bit of an injury, the Raptors add Center depth with Johnson Christianson (Oregon) on an expiring deal.

They end up perhaps trading a potential PG of the future with Henry Evans (SDSU) but they’ll be looking to ride out Fred Graham (Texas) as their main PG piece, who is also on an expiring contract.

The Mavs are looking to rebuild, at 1st round pick depth and at the same time looking for front-court help in aging veteran now Kevin Myers (Creighton)

Okelley (Villanova) has had a decent a pro career and will look to help the Atlanta Hawks.

Now THIS is a monster deal. Tyson Fox (Villanova) and Joe McPherson (SDSU), both young great CBGM players are leaving the Celtics.

The Celtics are picking up a huge PF and top 50 player in Tyshawn Doll (Creighton), while also getting some draft picks for the future.

The depth in the deal the Celtics have added are no mild names either and the Jazz will have stocked up their roster.

This deal is also a massive one. Colin Jeter (Syracuse), who’s had a great pro career so far but having to share the backcourt with Marco Logan (Baylor) is now onto the Spurs to help carry that team.

BJ Anderson is probably the great G League player we have ever seen. He’s won the 6th man of the year award about 3 straight times but only because he rotates behind Khalid Jones (Kentucky).

If BJ gets to start now, he is going to go off even more for the Blazers. They are now a championship threat to watch out for.
