Welcome again to the NBGM Finals. Each year the CBGM players get a little bit more influential in the outcome of the NBGM association.

The Magic are back, who seem to be in the final so often but they aren’t seeing the Mavs or Kings this time around. Last year’s champs the Bucks are out too.

The Dallas Mavericks are led by Lawrence Smith (Maryland) who brought them to the finals last season and joined by another 1st overall pick , Keiron Overton (Baylor). Think that’s the only one? No, Tim McDevitt (Oklahoma) is another 1st overall draft pick on their team.

They’ll be matching up against a New Orleans Pelicans team has one of the most deadly starting 5’s the CBGM has ever seen. Those guys were killers in the college. Check their lineup out further below.

New Orleans Pelicans

This team has a lot of depth. Led by the three headed monster in Stukes (VCU), Steffen (Florida), Smalls (Villanova)

Just those three alone are formidable but then…. you add..

CHICO DELEA (UNC) into the mix and he creates a really scary starting 5. Paul Pina (VCU) rounds them out.

Then Phil Robin (Baylor) is lurking in the wings off the bench.. Wow what a team.

Dallas Mavericks

The Mavs have Smith (Maryland) and Overton (Baylor) doing the bulk of the scoring

24 PPG + a piece is quite the contribution.

Chaz Bartley (Michigan) 31 years old has earned himself the starting position for this squad and is contributing nicely. He has not been a consistent starter at any point of his career.
