📄 Stars shine bright at the Final Four (S22)

The road has ended and we are at the final four! To get to this spot, there needs to be a little bit of star power to reach this level. Some notable loses in the Elite 8 leave four teams left. But what exactly makes the final four formula? Here is a hint, having the best players.

So who exactly are the names in this final four? Who are the players we will watch as they enter the NBGM? Let’s take a look at the best player per team.

Georgetown – Sherman Grundy

Senior leadership. He’s got more more green bars than your charged up phone. What comes in the package? 99 passing is remarkable. To also get about 5-5 in addition to PPG is as close to a triple double player you will get in the CBGM. Less time, less APG, less possessions, the league leader in APG doesn’t even exceed 7 apg.

Georgetown will cut down the nets if Sherman is locked in. And by LOCKED I mean look at that D. When Grundy zones in with his defensive ability and stealing on a guard, it’s going to be an off night for the opposing guard.

Player of the game 32 times, will he have two more in him to reach CBGM glory?

Baylor – Bernie Newton

He’s a diaper dandy. He’s got the scoring to light it up on any given night. He’s had his off nights though under the spotlight but even in that game, he hit the last two big shots to ice Kansas in the Big 12 Conference Championship.

Bernie Newton won’t be in the CBGM long. In fact he may already be counting his money as a probably t10 pick but likely top 5. Player of the week 28 times in the Big 12, he ran that conference. Will he run the final four?

Ohio State – Jordan Keams

We have more wisdom in the final four. 21 year old Senior Jordan Keams has been at it for some time at Ohio State. He’s finally reached the pinnacle. He is as balanced a player as it gets.

We’re long past the days of trashing his field goal percentage in #cbgm chat and now he is completely zoned in. One of the more notable traits is just how hard Keams hits the glass. He’s bringing his windex on a nightly basis. CBGM is looking like the ultimate prize for Keams — as right now he’ll have an even harder hill to climb towards NBGM all-star.

First things first. To end the Big 10 jokes.

Oregon – Kevin Price

His 93 scoring makes him just a little… more crafty than Newton & Keams. Price though wants to leave his mark this season and next season. Having not hired an agent, this is his first crack at a deep championship run.

He’s got what it takes to neutralize some of the opposition. He’s likely become one of the top scorers in the HISTORY of the CBGM. He started it right by putting in an above average statline on the Creighton freshmen standout guards. Where he really scares people might be his range. He can hit from the outside and is a threat to score anywhere on the court.

Here to make the Pac-12 proud, it’s Price & it’s duck season.

Good luck to all teams.
