📄 The CBGM Coaches’ Choice Awards! (S31)
It’s that time to get a feel for how the pulse of the Association thinks who should win some hardware.
We have awards named after the greatest players to ever take part in the CBGM. Their legacy will carry on with us in these people’s choice awards.
It’s up to the owners who play the game day in and day out to make their choices. Hopefully, they aren’t far off from the game itself!
Positional and Themed Awards
Player of the Year (POTY)
Kyle Bragg is the prospect that the NGBM will be salivating about. Although he didn’t carry Florida to higher heights, he was able to stand out on an individual basis. He locks up choice POTY.
Some Fun Facts
Based on the voting.
• Votes were calculated as 3pts for 1st, 2 for 2nd, 1 for 3rd.
• At PG, Smalls won over Traylor by just 1 point.
• There were no unanimous 1st place winners. Rob Ryan at SG, Lovell Gladieux at PF, Terence Wellman for International, and Kyle Bragg for Freshman were all 1 first place vote away from being unanimous. I am personally responsible for 2 of those votes.
• SF was the tightest 3-way contest, with each gaining 17, 14, and 13 points. The rest of the field had 4 total points.
• 13 players received votes for Mid-Major Player of the Year, more than any other award.
• Kyle Bragg nearly swept all awards he was nominated for, losing out to Andrei Radl for DPOTY by just 1 point.
